God of protector
Sudarshana Homam is a sacred Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Sudarshana, who is the divine weapon (chakra or discus) in the hands of Lord Mahavishnu.
Performing Sudarshana Homam helps devotees to destroy negativity force, protects from the evil eye and gives victory over the enemies.
During the Sudarshana Homam, a fire ritual similar to other Homams is conducted, where various offerings such as ghee, herbs, white custard, grains and other symbolic items are offered into the sacred fire. A sacred Sudarshna Mala mantras and hymns dedicated to Lord Sudarshana and Mahavishnu are chanted during the Homam.
The Sudarshana Homam is often performed to overcome obstacles, ward off negative energies, and bring about prosperity, well-being, and spiritual upliftment.
It is believed that by performing this ritual with devotion and sincerity, devotees can attain protection from harm, achieve success in their endeavors, and experience inner peace. This ritual is commonly performed on special occasions, during times of distress. It is particularly popular among devotees who seek divine intervention and protection from various forms of adversity.
